WOVEN ROVING

Woven roving is manufactured at looms using roving and glass strands (alkali free aluminaborosilicate glass).

“SPA "Severodonetsky Stekloplastic” Ltd. produces the following grades of woven roving:TSK-0,3, TR-0,4, TR-0,56, TR-0,7.

Advantages: woven roving has high surface density and high strength properties. Its structure provides improved processing ability in production of large size articles.

It doesn’t rot and doesn’t corrode. Glass reinforced plastics on the base of this material has high impact and tensile strength, high thermal resistance, corrosion resistance, low water absorption. Woven roving is supplied in rolls without inner cores. Its length in a roll (depending upon the grade of the material) may vary from 30 to 100 linear meters.

Application:   it is used in production of structural plastics, glass reinforced articles on the base of cold cure polyester and epoxy resins and also roll materials on the base of bakelite vanishes and urea resins.
