CHOPPED GLASS STRANDS
Chopped glass strands are white color free-flowing chops of continuous glass strands.
Application: chopped strands of E-glass are used in production of reinforced composites, heat-, sound insulating materials, filtering materials, rigid and soft mats or structural mats of different density and application, etc.
Advantages: chopped glass strands substitute continuous ones in reinforced plastic products as a material with lower manufacturing cost; this material has improved impregnating ability and therefore lower resin consumption; expensive equipment is not required in processing thereof.
